Welcome and Course Overview

This course is intended to give you both insight into stress and anxiety and some practical exercises to apply those insights. Regular use of these exercises can help ameliorate your ability to cope, deal with, and flourish amid the stresses and anxieties that are a part of life.

Please note that these session are not therapy and do not take the place of a therapeutic relationship. In some experiences and stages of life, we need all personal accompaniment. No person is an island. However, it is our hope that the insights and the habits that these insights can foster help you become more empathic with others when they experience stress and anxiety and will suggest some strategies for you to identify and deal with the beginnings of unhealthy levels of stress and anxiety in your own life.

In this vein, each of the four sessions comprises various recorded presentations and supplemental material followed by specific exercises. Each session is begins with a session overview, closes with a summary, and includes resources for further research on your own.
